The gastronomy of Sanxenxo is famous throughout Spain. In every season or month that we choose we will have the option of celebrating the exalting of some of the rich delicacies of these areas, which is the precious seafood of RiasBaixas. Therefore, if we travel to the town in August we can find the festival of oysters by the hermit of La Lanzada and the wine festival of Albariño in Cambados. If we travel in July we will find the festival of “callos” (pork tripes) in Meis and the festival of razor fish in the island of Arousa.
The RiasBaixas are a gastronomic experience that last the whole year. By the promenade that goes from SanxenxotoPortonovo, we will find several options to enjoy the marvellous Galician cuisine, with an exceptional quality/ price relationship.

The new gastronomic bet in the Tourism ofSanxenxo created by the council is another good option to enjoy the best cuisine and gastronomy. It consists on the elaboration of a sampling menufrom each restaurant participating, at the only price of 25€ per person and that you will be able to enjoy all year round. It has been created a promotional and illustrative leaflet with all the menus, which is available in every tourist office.
